User Agreement for Bonus-Program Participants of Depositfiles.com

The following terms and conditions are to be carefully read by each user before signing up for Bonus Program of Depositfiles.com

1. General Terms
By registering for Depositfiles.com Bonus Program you agree with and accept 1)this terms and conditions 2) rules of using Depositfiles.com 3) privacy policy of Depositfiles.com
If you disagree with these rules we will have to deny your application to participate in Bonus-Program of Depositfiles.com services.

2. Bonus Program Participant´s Account
Having applied for participation in Bonus Program of Depositfiles.com you confirm that you are a Guest or Gold-Member of Depositfiles.com and you are accepting all it´s limitations and bear responsibility to follow the rules for using Depositfiles.com services.
In particular, you accept and agree that a gold-membership does not influence the amount of money you can earn and receive through Depositfiles.com Bonus-Program.
As Bonus-Program Participant you provide us with your Payment Details (in those Payment systems which are used in our service).
Please mind that you are the only person responsible for any activity in your account (such as requests to change the payment details, changing email address, password, etc). In case of loosing control over your account (including but not limited to cases of changing the payment details) you should immediately contact Depositfiles´ Support Team and inform of such cases.
Pay your attention that until we identify the problem of illegal activity in your Bonus-Program account and it´s possible consequences , no payouts will be made in your account.
You also agree with and accept that Depositfiles.com has a right to suspend or block your account at our own discretion, immediately and with or without objective reason for that . We also preserve the right to terminate or cancel your Bonus-Program account with or without legitimate reason for that.
By accepting this agreement you undertake not to identify yourself as different person (including but not limited to providing the payment details registered with a different person, etc). Depositfiles.com will not confirm the correctness or validity of your data to any third person and will not give any recommendations or advices with based on the data we receive from our users. Depositfiles.com bear no responsibility for any information provided by the users but Depositfiles.com undertakes not to disclose any personal information provided by users.

3. Rules to be applied for files participating in Bonus-Program. Copyright policy.
You are fully responsible for your files and consequences of their usage in Bonus-Program of Depositfiles.com services. You declare and guarantee that each file uploaded by you to Depositfiles.com with a purpose to participate in Bonus-Program was personally created by you and you have all necessary rights and permissions for it´s usage and distribution.
By making the links to your files accessible for public you confirm that everybody can use your files according to the rules for using Depositfiles.com services. You also bear sole responsibility for distributing the links to your files.
You preserve the property rights for the files you personally uploaded though by distributing the links to these files you allow any third party to download, preview and use your files. Using the deleting links you can delete your files at any time.
By accepting these terms you confirm that you:
a) Unless you are the owner of copyright or have a special autorization from the owner , are not allowed to provide copyright materials, data that is a trade secret or belongs to a third party through Depositfiles.com service.
b) Publish the false or corrupted materials containing viruses, etc that may harmfully effect Depositfiles.com and third party
c) Upload ,post , transmit or otherwise make available through Depositfiles.com any content that spreads messages of terror or depicts torture or death-images, harm minors in any way, this includes any form of child pornography, any illegal or humiliating materials
You should remember that Depositfiles.com respects intellectual property and is asking you to do the same. We don´t grant any copyright infringements and any piracy of intellectual property and Depositfiles.com will delete any files if these will be reported to contain materials that infringe copyright.
Depositfiles.com will also delete any files protected with copyright that we will find ourselves.
Depositfiles.com preserves the right to delete any files without any notice as well as block/terminate the account of those users who continue infringing copyright of third party.

4. Distribution of links
Accepting this agreement you confirm that:
a) As Bonus-Program participant you will not distribute the generated links to the files by means of prohibited advertising that is by means of ICQ and email SPAM, by SPAM in forums, guest books, blogs and other ways that can be considered as not ethical
b) As Bonus-Program participant you agree not to distribute the generated link to the file at forums, blogs and websites containing or leading to materials that may harm minors in any way, this includes any form of child pornography, as well as illegal or obscene content.
c) By placing distributing the links to the files you accept that only internet users should use these links for downloading and so you confirm that you will not use any automated, computerized software (including but not limited to different types of bots and spiders as well as other programs) that can create false multiple downloads of the files from Depositfiles.com which is not usual for normal internet users.

5. Payment and Taxation Policy
From the date of your acceptance to Depositfiles.com Bonus-Program you will get paid for every 1000 unique downloads. Unique downloads are the downloads of your file from one unique IP-address during one day.
You are aware of and accept that though Depositfiles.com is a service which is available everywhere in the world and users from any country may download your files but you can earn money for your files only in case these were downloaded by users from certain countries.
At the moment Depositfiles.com is paying you $5 for every 1000 unique downloads of your files if these files were downloaded by users from Russian and United States.
Please pay attention that these rules can be changed by Depositfiles.com with regard to the list of countries as well as the amount of reward.
Depositfiles.com makes the payouts to the Bonus-Program Participants through Webmoney or PayPal. You personally provide us with your Payment details: electronic money type or ID number to accept payments.
You bear sole and exclusive tax liability for receiving earning as a reward from Depositfiles.com. Any taxes which are due to be paid from these earning are to be paid only by you as Depositfiles.com is not responsible for any tax claims regarding your earnings to any organization.
You are also personally liable for observing the rules of online payment systems and their lawful usage according to the laws of your country.
Depositfiles.com is paying you out every month (following the accounted month) on 6th and 7th for Webmoney transfers and from 6th to 15th for PayPal payments under the condition that your account balance has reached the minimum.
At the moment the minimum balance for payment is $40.
If during the accounted period you could not reach the minimum balance, the pay-out date is postponed until the required minimum amount on the account will be available for that.
Depositfiles.com will not make any additional charges or pay-outs except the amounts stated in your account area.

6. Final Clause
By agreeing with and accepting this agreement you confirm that you agree to participate in Bonus-Program and to use Depositfiles.com services at your soul risk.
Depositfiles.com and it´s owners and partners disclaim no warranties, direct or constructive connected with this service and your usage of this service.
Depositfiles.com disclaims all warranties and does not guarantee any compensations for losses connected with: a) accuracy and reliability of the services b) any illegal access or usage of our servers or any personal/financial information stored at Depositfiles.com c) any interruptions or stops in downloading files d) any errors or viruses which can be transmitted with a help of Depositfiles.com to any third party (including but not limited to any errors or flaws for any type of data as well as any harm done to third party as a result of using any files at Depositfiles.com).
By agreeing with this you confirm that your age is 18 years and more or you have legitimate or guardian who agree to accept and follow up these rules. In any way you confirm that you are older then 13 years as Depositfiles.com service is unappropriated for using by children younger then 13 years.
You accept that by infringing any part of this agreement you infringe the whole terms of use and as a result your Bonus-Program Participant´s account will be canceled.
Accepting and signing up this agreement you confirm that you a) have read the above written agreement b) understand the above written agreement c) all payment and login/personal details provided by you are correct and are not going to delude Depositfiles.com services.

Why email reputation ensures email delivery. Stop thinking avoid spam filters and Start thinking Email Reputation NOW!

First of all when we talk email reputation we are talking about the reputation of your server IP address. Not so much the reputation of your domain, but for now your associated email servers IP address.

Reputation is simple to understand. ISPs take every possible spam filter, roll them all into one big overall result and then decide if the email in question goes thru. This is why I have been calling the “this is spam button” a spam filter.

This is an oversimplification (somewhat) so don’t call me on it please :]

Email reputation is a score created by an ISP or a third party provider.

ISPs are using a complex algorithm to create a single number from all the different filter technology results. If your reputation is above a certain number your email goes thru. Lower and you land in the spam folder or get blocked altogether.

Email Reputation is determined by the opinions of:

• A: The ISPs
• B: The antispam community
• C: Your own subscribers

A + B + C = Email Reputation

Let’s look at how each of these opinions is formed….

A: The ISPs: Yahoo!, Microsoft, Comcast and AOL

• Authentication (SPF, DK and Sender ID)
• ISP Whitelisting and FBLs
• ISP spam traps
• DNS entries
• Spam complaints
• URLs in emails

ISPs soon will be demanding email authentication and turning up the screws on further filters if your email can’t prove it’s identity. Yahoo! is already quoted as saying that your email delivery will face more filtering if DomainKeys and is not in place.

While many will say email authentication does not determine deliverability it is soon to be the first step in your email reputation. It will also help to save your reputation from phishers and spammers.

List hygiene also plays a large part. Don’t send to nonexistent addresses, full mailboxes or abandoned inboxes.

B: The Antispam community

Spamhaus and SpamCop still remain huge in email delivery. Yahoo relies on Spamhaus and Return Path now owns SpamCop. Return Path is the parent company of Sender Score Certified.

I believe Return Path also supplies further data on senders outside the program. Think email reputation monitoring here. If they have all this information on senders in the program I am sure they have the same on those of us not willing to pony up the big bucks for Sender Score Certified.

C: You Own Subscribers

Yes, the dreaded “this is spam” button still lurks around every corner. On topic content sent on a regular basis is still the solution here.

The #1 reason that you run into delivery problems is that the spam complaint rate is too high. AOL quotes on its site that an acceptable rate is 1 per 100 emails.

In the past a complaint rate of 0.5% or higher could result in major delivery issues. However, according to Ben Chestnut, co-founder of e-mail service provider MailChimp, 0.5% isn’t necessarily a reliable statistic.

“I’ve seen less than that get blocked and I’ve seen a lot more than that get by. Either the formula’s constantly changing or there’s one guy out there changing the rules on a daily basis,” he said. “I’ve seen some pretty bad stuff get by and wondered: ‘Wow. How in god’s name did that not get blocked?’”

Chestnut recommends marketers strive for a complaint rate of less than one per thousand, or less than 0.1%.

Reputation Starting Points

• Add all the current authentication methods: SPF, Sender ID and DomainKeys.
• Sign up for all available ISP Whitelists.
• Sign up for all available Feedback Loops.

Avoid changing your email server IP address.

Some ISPs put throttles on the amount of mail a new IP can send as a way to help fight spam. With the ISP not knowing anything about a new IP, they are initially more cautious with the amount of mail they let through.

Do not send HTML on the first message.

Since your HTML is not going to display on the first email until your subscriber whitelists you, consider a text only welcome email. AOL online, Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail do not show HTML images until you enable them.

Make sure your HTML emails are still appearing the way you expect them to. New IPs and senders not already whitelisted by the user may not layout the way you planned if HTML graphics don’t load.

Do not change your “From” address. Settle on your email appearing form the publisher’s name, your business name or the website business name. This is important for user whitelisting.

If you change your “From” address, make sure to send out a notification to your subscribers before the change. This way, they can add the new address to their address book, and you are more likely to get it to the inbox.

Be vigilant about your unsubscribe process. Getting opt-outs off the list as quickly as possible is key to minimizing complaints. Test your process on a regular basis (ideally, before each send) to ensure that it works. Also, be sure to process feedback loop complaints and remove them from your list before every send.

Look at your program from your subscribers’ viewpoint. The likeliest cause of a bad reputation is a high complaint rate.

Be very clear as to what you are going to deliver. Cross promotions are a great way to add second lines of income. Cross promotions are also a great way to get spam complaints. If you don’t think your subscribers will complain you are wrong.

What Does Reputation Mean To You

It has been said that a man’s reputation is everything and that has never been truer than today when it comes to sending email in 2008.

It will be more important than ever in 2008 to ensure your email delivery efforts aren’t lost because of poor sender reputation.

ISPs are more and more focused on deleting spam than ever.

Remember every email costs an ISP money. The good news here is that ISPs say technology is getting better and false positives are dropping. They also claim that eventually email reputation will become portable and follow your domain. That is the promise of DKIM and mostly from Yahoo! but two years down the road.

Just remember that email reputation is the whole picture not just another spam filter that can be circumvented with some tricks.

1. You must create an account and upload all your files when you are signed into your account so we can track your downloads.
2. Your uploads must meet our terms of service.
3. Downloads of files smaller than 20MB do not qualify. Downloads by Premium members do not qualify.
4. You must not try to manipulate your download statistics or you will be disqualified. Only unique completed downloads are counted.
5. You need to be a current Premium member in order to receive cash payments.
6. If a token has been applied to an account, the password to the account must not be shared. Shared accounts are immediately closed without warning.
7. Points accumulated in one month cannot be converted to cash or tokens until the following month. For example, points earned in January can be converted to cash in the beginning of February, for payment after 15th February.
